The group is run by researchers in field of ozone and UV-radiation measurements from Finnish Meteorological Institute, Danish Meteorological Institute, Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority, Norwegian Institute for Air Research and Tartu Observatory.

In addition every year there are participants from other institutes and countries. This time University of Tartu and Public Health England are represented. Last year Kaisa Lakkala from Finnish Meteorological Institute was selected for lead the group.

From Tartu Observatory Kalju Eerme has been the active member of NOG for a long time. This has given the entire workgroup of remote sensing of atmosphere a good opportunity to be in contact and develop collaboration with international UV research community.
